the fryhoffs move to missouri + halloween.

well, hello everybody! long time, no talk.

it's definitely been awhile, and so much has happened! time to catch you up to speed.

first of all, we officially left our home in the DC area and made the move to missouri! as hard as it was saying good-bye to our closest friends, we know that it was the best move for us at this time in our lives. and it's been an incredible experience so far.

on our beautiful drive to missouri, we got to take a pit stop at the new beautiful indianapolis LDS temple. it was right on our way, and we couldn't pass up the opportunity.

we are currently staying with john's parents which has been a gigantic blessing. one of the main reasons we wanted to move from DC was to be closer to family, and we've already seen the blessings of having them so close to us. they've been so supportive and helpful to us, and we are so grateful to them. liam's been spoiled rotten, and is soaking up all of the extra attention from nana and papa fryhoff.

it is such a different ballgame out here in the midwest. living in DC always felt so stressful and anxiety-inducing for many reasons. a few being the crazy drivers, the horrible traffic, and stressing about parking with the fear of being towed. people here in missouri barely drive the speed limit, parking is free pretty much everywhere, and traffic is minimal. i can already feel a difference in pace here, and i'm loving it.

we have found our own place already, and we are so excited to move in and get settled before this baby comes.

you may think we are insane for moving this close to when the baby is due, and you're definitely not alone! I THINK WE ARE INSANE. who in the heck moves six weeks before you're supposed to pop? apparently, we do. luckily i've been seen already by my incredible OB/GYN here in missouri, and i love her! she's made this such a smooth transition for me, and we are inching closer and closer to baby's due date. as of yesterday, i'm already 3 centimeters dilated and i'm only 37 weeks. this baby is going to be here before we know it!

here's a picture of him and all of his squishy cuteness.

in case you're wondering, we are nowhere near naming this child. who know it would be this much harder the second time around?

since living here in missouri, we've had many adventures already. one of my favorites being taking liam to the pumpkin patch! there is an adorable pumpkin patch close to john's parents house called Rombach's Farm. they have animals, a haunted house, hay rides, a farm train, and pumpkins galore! we had a blast even though it was raining buckets and buckets.

and last but not least, my favorite event that has happened so far...

HALLOWEEN!

liam went trick-or-treating for the first time, and actually enjoyed wearing his adorable train conductor costume. it's so much fun watching your kids enjoy the things that you used to do when you were younger. being a parent is a blast!

ugh, is he not the cutest thing you've ever seen? he kills me.

well, that's what has been happening around here!

the next big thing? this little boy bouncing in my belly will be here so soon. stay tuned!
