nine months old.

well, it's official! our little guy has now reached the age of NINE MONTHS- which means that he has now been outside of my belly the same amount of time that he was inside my belly. how crazy is that?! he has grown from a itty-bitty baby newborn to a chunky, squishy, little man! i know that i sound like a major broken record, but these past nine months have seriously flown by. i look at pictures of liam when he was a brand new baby and wonder, where the heck did that little baby go? liam is growing into a sweet, goofy, happy, and handsome little fella, and we are loving every single second that we have with our sweet little boy. 

so, what is new with liam? well...

- he is pulling up and standing on everything, taking lots of falls (ouch!), and starting to take some steps while holding onto something. he takes naps by standing up against the crib railings for thirty to forty minutes, and then falls asleep in adorable positions, like this:

and then wakes up with adorable, sleepy faces like this:

- he's learned to clap! so much fun.

- i took liam to the mall to play on the playground, and he absolutely loved it {don't worry, i gave him a major bath afterwards...so gross}. he made some buddies, and even waited for his turn for a toy while another little boy was using it. it was so adorable. 

he politely waited for the little boy to be done, and then once he was gone...

...he crawled to it so fast! proud mama right here.

he L-O-V-E-D going in this tunnel. and he made a cute friend! win-win.

i mean, look at that face... so. stinkin'. cute.

- he loves to make a fishy face while eating breakfast.

- he loves to help mommy with unloading the dishwasher.

- and one of my favorite things about liam? his BED HEAD.

this is what we wake up to EVERY SINGLE DAY.

gosh, i love this kid.

- the plans for liam's first birthday party/gifts are underway, and what did we happen to find when we went to ikea? liam's first birthday present. he was hesitant at first, but then, it was a huge hit. ikea, for the win!

i can't help but think back to the morning that liam was born; the rush of emotions as they handed him to me was completely indescribable. our sweet boy has been a part of our lives for nine months now, and i cannot believe that in just three short months, he will be turning ONE. time flies when you're having fun, and this little boy's life is just getting started. i cannot wait to see who this little boy becomes; the choices that he makes, the people that he befriends, and the places that he goes. he is going to do amazing things, big and small, and we will be there for him every step of the way.

p.s. we bought liam's halloween costume, and let's just say that his cuteness caused me to roll on the ground laughing uncontrollably. can it be halloween already? stay tuned for the prehistoric cuteness.
