2013.

well, i'll just get right to it.

2013 ROCKED. it rocked my socks off. i can honestly say that 2013 was probably the best year of my life to date.

and here's why:

my beautiful big sister returned from her mission to las vegas.

i turned the big 2-1. i love sharing the same birthday with john.

john got to speak at a BYU-Hawaii devotional. what can i say? i'm a proud wife!

john and i were leads in BYU-Hawaii's musical production of "Little Women". i played marmee, and john played laurie.

we found out we were pregnant with our first baby!

i performed my senior vocal recital. my family flew out to support me!

john and i graduated from COLLEGE.

john's parents took us on our graduation trip to maui.

we celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary. love him!

john and i went with the BYU-Hawaii Concert Choir on a choir tour to new zealand and australia. best trip of my life.

we said good-bye to hawaii, and we moved to chicago.

and, last but not least, our little baby boy was born.

needless to say, 2013 was beyond amazing. it stretched me as a student, a daughter, a wife and a new mother. i learned so many life lessons, and have become a better person through the opportunities and experiences i was blessed with in 2013. it was a beautiful, challenging, and rewarding year.

now, 2014 is here. and boy, do i have lots of goals and plans ahead!

my 2014 new years resolutions are:

1. keep a gratitude journal.
2. less facebook, more reading books.
3. lose my baby weight and get fit again.
4. take a picture a day on Instagram. follow me! @cassie_fryhoff #fryhoff365
5. send a birthday card to as many people as i can.
6. be the best wife and mother, striving to put others before myself.
7. focus on building and strengthening my testimony of Jesus Christ.
8. serve others often.
9. be a great member missionary.
10. learn to knit.

i have a feeling about 2014...it's going to be a good one!

happy new year, everyone!
