one month.

i can't believe that i'm saying this, but our sweet little liam is ONE MONTH OLD. where did my little newborn baby go? 

time seriously flies, people.

feast your eyes upon a few of liam's newborn pictures. i may be biased, but he's perfect.

yup, he's perfect.

here are a few fun facts about liam:

• he loves listening to the sound of water. anytime we turn on the shower or sink, he is entranced. he loves it.
• he can already roll from his tummy to his back. he will start off doing tummy time, get sick of it, and just roll over. i could not believe my eyes when he did it the first time.
• he loves to be sung to. 
• john and i both think that he has blue eyes.
• he twitches in his sleep, he is definitely his daddy's boy.
• he sometimes sleeps with his eyes slightly open, he is definitely his mama's boy.
• he loves to be bounced. if he is crying or fussing, you can start bouncing him up and down and he will stop immediately.
• he sleeps very well through the night, usually only getting up once or twice to feed and get his diaper changed. (mommy and daddy love this!)
• his umbilical cord fell off when he was five days old. 
• his sneezes are the cutest.
• he hated his first bath, but tolerates them now.
• he loves to suck on his fingers, and his pacifier.
• he loves to be swaddled.
• he loves to snuggle! i love snuggling with my little snuggler. 

something else fun that we've come to discover about our son is that he has quite the personality.

and here he is, our little small fry all grown up to ONE MONTH. 

since the moment liam entered our lives, we have been completely smitten. whenever i'm holding him, i always catch myself just staring at him, watching his every move, and examining every feature. from the little hairs on his head to his adorable toes, we are completely in love, and so thankful to be his parents.
